Always friendly and good natured with other dogs as well as people. Tempermentally sound and approximately 70 lbs. Roy is a moderately built, handsome dog with a strong powerful topline. And a beautiful head and neck. He has excellent shoulder layback with correct angles, front and rear. And also has full dentition.

Capable of lasting a full day in the field or in the marsh. Roy began his field training at the tender age of 6 months old. By one year of age, Roy had earned his junior hunting title and at just over one year old (14 months) earned a licensed Derby Jam in the only Derby he ran. The same weekend earning his WCX title. Roy was on his way... The following Spring Roy easily earned his Senior Hunting title in 4 straight tests. It was on to the Master. Fall saw Roy with 3 Master passes at just over 2 years of age. The following spring found Roy finishing his Master Hunting title. Not the average guy, Roy is dedicated and serious. A strong marker and superb lining dog.
